Rifts - DMH - Camp Union

Megana nods, driving atop a high trail, making sure to keep the river in view. The river is incredibly wide and fast moving.

Vi's curiosity spikes, "Merc towns? What are those?"

Dusty fondly smiles, as though remembering better times, "Merc towns are... well? I guess the best way to describe those places are towns where mercenaries and all sorts of people gather to trade, get jobs, post bounties, sell goods and make friends. They're also very violent at times. So I'd be careful who you talk to."

Up ahead, there is a fork in the road and a sign pointing one direction, "Richla... rk... ... miles," and another sign pointing to the right, "Yello...ne Ri.... 2 miles." Dusty seems excited as he calls out, "Head towards Richland. Once we get through there, then there should be a bridge across the river and towards the great plains. Once we get there, if we can find a decent enough road, then the merc town I'm thinking of should only be a few hours driving."

Megana nods as she follows his direction..."whats the next plan of attack once we get there?" She asks after listening to vi and dusty's discussion as her eyes are on the road.

Vi sits back and closes her eyes, feeling the ryrhem of the apc as it goes down the road .

Megana nods, "What's the next plan of attack once we get there?" She asks keeping her eyes are on the road and tree line for trouble.

Vi leans back and closes her eyes, feeling the rhythm of the APC as bumps down the trail. Eventually, they come across what could be best described as a broken up, could have been paved, road and begin driving along it. It's less bumpy and allows Megana to speed up. Eventually, Dusty taps her shoulder, "Up here, take a left. I overheard the tribes people talking about an old world bridge that hasn't collapsed. We could use it to keep heading east past this damned river."

Megana notices that the road leads down into a valley of thick trees, creating a canopy of darkness for all that reside underneath. Across the grove of trees, the river roars, but she finally sees the old rusted iron and wooden bridge. It's condition looks questionable, even at this distance. Could it hold up a several ton APC?

Vi listening to dusty talk to Megana about the bridge ," dusty are u sure that bridge can even support our weight ? "

"I agree....could it hold it us while traveling" Megana looks at the bridge with concern and suspicion

Vi addresses the obvious, "Dusty, are you sure that bridge can even support our weight?"

"I agree... could it hold it us while traveling?" Megana considers bridge with concern and suspicion.

Dusty grins, "I guess we're about to find out." He points forward like a ship's captain, "Forward!"

OOC: The next bit will depend on speed and structure of the bridge (ive seen this bridge personally) and Megana's pilot check.

Vi grabs her harness for safety, " ok megana lets get this over with. "
With Vi sitting there holding in to her harness , listens to the apc as it starts its trek across the bridge with a look of concern across her face .

Megana quietly nods and focuses driving onto the bridge listening for any worrying sounds or any worrying sights. She remains silent to focus on the driving ahead. (ooc-for gods sakes this makes me nervous)
