"No," Felix simply replies.
Upon stepping outside, Frank and Johnny are already halfway up the street, watching the scene unfold. Sam, Emily and Steve, with drink in hand, follow her out.
Vi is being arrested by Coach Driver, Dane's dad and the sheriff. Two more deputies are almost there. Dane, Brad, Maya and Miss Hoffman are trying to get to Vi, but are having a hard time navigating the crowd. At the top of the school steps, Marshal scurries away on his hands and knees as Martin Swenson holds the limp, almost faceless, bloodied body of his son, Teddy, begging for Brad or anyone to help him.
